Wednesday April 16th

Today has been a busy day, as you know I got into Sisters Oregon yesterday (thanks to everyone for the support regarding the lift over the last peak of the cascades), anyway I got up had a real breakfast, not freeze dried food..:) I was walking by 9am, from sisters to Bend Oregon, I walked 23 miles today...the views where beautiful but of course very different from the mountains, amazing it isn't that far away but the entire climate  changes.  The cascades on the west side, pines lots of moss on the trees and hanging from the branches, the higher you go the less moss, at the top no moss, just pines, once on the east side it get rockier and still pines, as soon as you get to Sister Or. It's arid with pines and sagebrush, but just as beautiful
