Wild horses

Anyone who knows me, knows for sure that I've had a life long love affair with horses. As I walked on rt 20 I came to the entrance of the BLM wild horse corrals, they offer free visits when they have horse....in case your not familiar they round up 100's of horses a year..it's not without controversy, but what it boils down to..the horses eat the same grass the cattle ranchers what for their BLM grazing cows...the ranches look at the horses as a nuisance, and as we know...money talks...so they keep the herds thinned, they round them up, check their health, then auction them off to people who will break them and train them...sick older animals etc..are sent else where...not a great system, but in truth better than the fate of many race horses...I was lucky when it got here they only off self guided auto tours..no auto left me out, one of the employes saw me and gave me a tour in a golf cart....thank you Larry...I loved seeing them, there where at least 2 or 300 horses there
