Wed. April 30

Another stunningly beautiful day for a walk, now that I'm out of the nothingness of the height desert of Oregon, the terrain has changed. Irrigated farms and ranches dot the land scape, and my route.  I happy with my decision to stay out of the cities and make my way through the back roads, there will be plenty of times after the Mississippi River where I won't have an option.  Because I'm no longer desperate to get out of the Oregon desert, I've found the past few days I haven't walked as much, I'm averaging just over 20 a day, today I believe it wax around 23 miles. I'm almost into Murphy Idaho, there's a small, mom and pop owned RV park, I think this was set up on their land just to possibly make a few dollars should anyone want to stay while exploring the area or snake river...anyway I've set up camp here, they have water...cold only..maybe I'll het some, or just make do....
